I am an experienced leader in the area of data and digital transformation. I have several years of experience in strategic programme management, team leadership, and technology steering in the fields of data science and machine learning. I empower people with insights from data.

I am currently Head of Data Science and AI at voestalpine High Performance Metals DIGITAL SOLUTIONS in Vienna, Austria. My team creates data-driven solutions for the process industry with a focus on manufacturing and processing of high performance metals.

I earned a PhD in computational science, an MSc in computational intelligence, and a BSc in software and information engineering. I have several years of professional research experience in mathematical image and data analysis. I have worked in both large international organisations as well as in startups.

Before transitioning to industry, I held a position as a Research Associate at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. My research was in image analysis and inverse problems, and has applications in medical imaging, molecular and cell biology, and in computer vision.
